Pictures
Is
cost a consideration when choosing a photographer for your
senior pictures?
You're
only a senior once, and your pictures should be absolutely
awesome! But they shouldn't cost half your college tuition
either! Photography businesses often offer a reasonably priced
package for senior pictures;
however, those packages usually contain only a small number of
photographs, and often just of one pose. Additional prints
and poses are priced considerably higher, so you end up spending much more
than you planned to purchase enough photographs to share with family and friends.
The
underlying principle on which I based my photography business is
just the opposite. I charge a low sitting fee to shoot, edit, and
enhance your images and then provide the print to you at the lowest
prices you'll find in the area.

Is
having choices important to you when selecting a photographer for
your senior pictures?
I think the more choices you have the better! Instead of
limiting you to five or six finished images, I'll provide you
with a minimum of 20 to 40 depending on how long we have to
shoot, each image fully edited and enhanced in post production. You'll also have full color, black and white,
sepia, and color highlighted black & white images from which
to choose. Then I'll upload all of your finished
photographs to an on-line gallery for you to view and share with
family and friends. That way, out-of-town relatives can
see your pictures as soon as you do!

you choose a location for your photo shoot that requires an

Important
Note: The
outfits you choose for your pictures will make a huge
impact on your final portrait. The goal of all professional
portraiture is to have the center of focus be on the face.
Some colors and styles can take away from the final
effect. Neutral, solid colors work best. Avoid stripes, dots,
and busy patterns! What looks good to
the human eye can overwhelm the camera lens. You need to
plan your outfits and grooming carefully, keeping in mind the
final effect for your portrait.
